Executive Director

Welcome to my passion project! I have been involved in Education professionally since 1989. Over the years, I have taught every grade, from Kindergarten through High School in public district & charter schools and private schools. I have also advised homeschool parents, guiding them through elementary, middle, & high school, leading into college and career. I love having a front-row seat as students progress and grow. 

I have a BA in Literature with a minor in Sociology of Education. I have a MAEd in Classical Liberal Arts Education, and a MEd in Curriculum & Instruction. My philosophy of education includes the belief that every child can learn and succeed, and teachers with well-rounded backgrounds and creative minds can find a way to bring learning to life for every single student.

I homeschooled my own children, from Kindergarten through completion of high school and into college. We used a combination of private homeschooling and hybrid charter schools over the years. They are all grown now, and so I felt it was the right time to start a little project of my own. 

I was the founding Board Chair throughout the application process, and I wrote the education portions of our charter application. The key elements, academic goals, and overall model came from over 30 years of experience as a teacher and parent, with invaluable input from our amazing professional Board.
