Haley Olson

Social Studies / History

I am thrilled to be a teacher at Elevated Charter School. I recently finished my degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. My teaching journey has allowed me to work with students from kindergarten through 6th grade. Through my experiences working with different age groups and classrooms, I've learned the importance of  creating positive, engaging learning environments, and supporting diverse student needs.

A key priority for me is building meaningful relationships with my students and collaborating closely with their families to support individual growth. I believe this approach not only fosters trust but also encourages students to approach challenges with determination and curiosity. It’s crucial for me to exemplify how to be a lifelong learner to my students. I’m always open to feedback and committed to improving my practice while bringing a growth mindset into every lesson I teach.

Outside of school, I enjoy the simple pleasures in life, like sipping on Diet Dr. Pepper, going on walks with my husband, and hiking. I love spending time with family, soaking up the sun, and being outdoors. I'm excited to contribute to the wonderful community at Elevated Charter School and inspire a lifelong love of learning in my students.
