Utah Education Code restricts enrollment in public school to 100%.
Elevated enrolls K-8 students at 100%, which means that upon completion of enrollment, your student is enrolled full-time in Elevated Charter School.
Deferral of start date can be approved for a maximum of 10 school days. Please inform us that you would like to defer your start date if needed.
High school students (grades 9-12) can be enrolled for a minimum of 75%, which requires approval from Elevated Administration.
Please notify your previous school, in writing (email qualifies), that your student is withdrawing or will not be returning by the date you complete Elevated enrollment, which is when you submit your ASPIRE registration.
Your previous school may request proof of enrollment. You can forward them your acceptance email from Elevated or your email confirming you have completed enrollment.
Elevated will officially request records within 5 school days of enrollment completion (ASPIRE registration).
Although Elevated students primarily learn at home, they are classified by Utah Education Code as "enrolled in public school".
You should not file a homeschool affidavit with your district while enrolled with Elevated Charter School.
Elevated Charter School students are not eligible for Utah Fits All Scholarship or the Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship (aka Children First Education Fund).
