I am thrilled to be teaching Literacy Explorers and History Explorers at Elevated Charter School and to be part of such a warm and dynamic community. Elevated Charter School provides an amazing platform for both teaching and learning, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be pursuing my passion in this profession. My goal is to create a caring, safe, engaging, and harmonious learning environment where students are encouraged to believe in themselves and strive for their personal best.

I am originally from Southern California, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. With ten years of experience as an elementary teacher and over eighteen years working with students in both primary and secondary education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to education. I moved to Utah six years ago and its been amazing. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, drinking coffee, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with my husband and two children.
